Présentation des membres du groupe

Le groupe se compose de six soldats écossais :

- un "lance corporal" du 7th Seaforth Highlander

- un "private" du 7th Seaforth Highlander

- un "sergent" 7th Argyll&Sutherland

- un "private" 7th Argyll&Sutherland

- un "private" Gordon Highlanders

- un "private" 10th Liverpool scottish

- un " private " Black Watch

- un piper du 7th Seaforth Highlander

La branche médicale est aussi représentée avec la présence parmi nous d'une "Territorial Scot Nurse".

Nous habitons et/ou sommes tous originaires des Flandres (françaises) où ces régiments écossais ont combattu durant la Grande Guerre. Chacun d'entre nous rend hommage à un soldat écossais tombé dans nos villages entre 1914 et 1918.

Françoise Marlot staff nurse TFNS

en mémoire d'Agnes Murdoch CLIMIE de Glasgow, staff nurse du territorial force nursing service (TNFS), tuée le 30/09/1917 à l'âge de 32 ans lors du bombardement aérien du 58^th Scottish General Hospital de Saint Omer. Elle repose au cimetière de Longuenesse (St Omer), tombe VI. B. 1.
